Rhapsody in Blue - George Gershwin

Composer of the Month: George Gershwin.  George Gershwin was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1898.  He did not begin his musical career until the age of 10.  He studied in Paris, France with Igor Stravinsky. Gershwin did a lot to build respect for jazz music. He wrote many works for Broadway!  Rhapsody in Blue  is one of his most famous works.  He wrote it in only 10 days!
